Kate Sachen has been singing and playing music since she was nine years old. In High School, she discovered Musical Theatre via Fiddler on the Roof, and she immediately fell in love. She’s been onstage and on-camera ever since, performing in musicals such as Aida, West Side Story, and Beauty and the Beast, operas such as Carmen, Cavalleria Rusticana, and Pagliacci, straight-theatre and Shakespeare such as No Exit, Wait Until Dark, Three Musketeers, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, as well as taken part in many student and independent films and projects. Kate also has extensive experience behind the scenes. She has worked rigging systems, operated sound and lighting boards, even dabbled in pyrotechnics. Kate has also been a part of many set, sound, lighting, makeup, and costume design teams, and she’s even taken a stab at writing and directing more than a few times.
